Summary

The People Operations Sr Analyst supports new and existing system functionality and HR operational process design and administration for Human Resources.  This role will lead the implementation and testing of new Human Resources systems and processes and is accountable for data management, process documentation, operational administration and supporting all aspects of query management and functional reporting from all Human Resources systems.  

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive and clear documentation of business requirements, functional specifications, and process flows relating to HCM implementation and operational processes as required.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, including HR, Accounting and IT departments, to understand their needs and objectives and translate to technical and process requirements.
  • Analyze and validate gathered requirements to ensure they are feasible, complete, and aligned with the overall project scope.
  • Support the existing Performance Management System, including configuration, testing, and maintenance. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather system requirements and implement enhancements that align with business needs for interim change requirements while focusing on future state system migration plans and requirements. Identify and resolve system issues.
  • Work closely with the Compensation & Analytics team to ensure compensation memos and compensation and benefit statements are accurate, clear, and effectively communicated – must apply quality control efforts to ensure all system communications are zero defect experiences.
  • Design, coordinate and conduct system testing according to requirements, including writing test plans, managing testing processes, and documenting results. 
  • Work closely with Human Resources department to provide support on applicable HR system updates, testing, training, maintenance, documentation, and communication.
  • Lead initiatives for implementation of new Human Resources systems processes and/or procedures.
  • Identify, analyze, and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and improve overall quality.
  • Test new customizations, functional updates/fixes and/or new features.
  • HR system security administration including creation of operational processes to perform security auditing and regular governance oversight parameter establishment.
  • Develop and modifies new and/or existing HR reports. This would include gathering requirements from end-users, document requirements, and testing of new reports.
  • Research best practices and keep abreast of trends in HRIS and HR Operational Administration development and related business applications to assist business owners in meeting system and process goals.
  • Partner with all stakeholders and internal clients to determine their goals and objectives for systems support and requirements (Resource Management, Practice Administration, etc.), regularly provide recommendations for achieving stated goals and assist in the development of such solutions.
  • Create and maintain HR Systems procedure documentation and communicate changes in procedures to applicable Human Resource personnel.
  • Coordinate with internal business owners to identify root causes of and solutions to data integrity issues.
  • Answer end-user questions and ensure issues are tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

 Salaries vary by location and are based on numerous factors, including, but not limited to, the relevant market, skills, experience, and education of the selected candidate. If an estimated salary range for this role is available, it will be provided in our Target Salary Range section. Target Salary Range

$116,000 - $130,000 if located in Illinois

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience: 

Required:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in Human Resources information systems
  • Project Management experience (particularly with respect to organization, planning, and time managements)
  • Demonstrated technical and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

 Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Workday experience – Core HCM, Talent and Absence Management
  • Demonstrated ability to identify the root cause(s) of problems/inefficiencies within Human Resource systems or processes
  • Demonstrated experience working with a resource management system
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to drive change across various departments.
