Partner Recruiting Assistant

Summary

The position will support the Partner Recruiting Team with the firm-wide recruitment of partner candidates in accordance with established procedures and requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support and help facilitate the recruiting and interviewing process for partner candidates from start to finish.
  • Responsible for data entry into recruiting database.
  • Assist with the facilitation of partner candidate interviews with firm management and firm partners in the relevant practice groups of each office.
  • Responsible for partner candidate interview logistics including but not limited to sending confirmation emails, calendaring meetings, setting up video links and/or making conference room reservations, preparation of materials and information packets to be provided to candidates prior to interviews.
  • Coordinate travel and other arrangements for partner candidates as requested.
  • Solicit and compile feedback from partner candidate interviews.
  • Draft search firm placement fee agreements. Maintain database of such fee agreements and complete record of terms and conditions agreed to with partner recruiting agencies.
  • Process expense reimbursements.
  • Support the Partner Recruiting Team with special projects and the implementation of process improvements.
  • Ability to work overtime during busy periods.
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 

Salaries vary by location and are based on numerous factors, including, but not limited to, the relevant market, skills, experience, and education of the selected candidate. If an estimated salary range for this role is available, it will be provided in our Target Salary Range section. Target Salary Range

$61,000 - $65,000 if located in Illinois

Education and/or Experience: 

Required:

  • Associate’s Degree.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in legal law firm recruiting or other professional services organization.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience working with recruiting databases.
