Summary

The Web Developer develops a variety of custom web applications for internal use and is part of the IT department.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop custom systems solutions, including the analysis, development, testing, implementation, and documentation of these solutions.
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and enhance existing applications.
  • Create and maintain appropriate application documentation, including end-user and technical maintenance materials, for custom applications.
  • Keep abreast of technology trends and new technologies and recommend as necessary within the group.
  • Other duties, as needed.

Education and/or Experience: 

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • A strong understanding of the web and application development languages and tools which include: HTML, CSS, Javascript (Jquery, Underscore, Vue JS), .NET framework, VB.Net/C#.Net, SQL, and Responsive Framework – Bootstrap
  • Experience with ASP.NET MVC and Web Forms
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL Server Stored Procedure programming and knowledge of Relational Database concepts.
  • Source Control – VSS, TFS, Git
  • Experience creating and consuming web services
  • Software development life cycle
  • Technical Documentation
  • Application Integration

Preferred:

  • Azure DevOps
  • Cloud development
  • Orchestrator / UIPath development
