  • Summary

    The Marketing Coordinator will support activities relating to the Firm’s marketing initiatives in the Dallas office. These initiatives include internal and client-facing events and meetings, the office’s client ticket program, maintenance of department databases, and the development of marketing materials such as lawyer biographies, brochures and presentations.


    The Marketing Coordinator works with colleagues in other offices and is involved in a variety of activities, including coordinating and supervising projects. It is essential that the Coordinator is a self-starter, meets all project deadlines and works well across offices and in a team environment.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Organizes, executes and supports Firm-sponsored seminars, teleconferences and receptions for clients and prospective clients, from conception through execution.
    • Defines and measures event metrics.
    • Assists in the planning and execution of marketing initiatives that further the Firm’s diversity and Dallas Women’s Committee programs.
    • Assists Marketing Manager and Awards & Rankings team with client and lawyer awards nominations; including maintaining database of award submissions and results for the Dallas office.
    • Works within InterAction (contact relationship management database) to build event invitation lists and document and track all client outreach and activities; including RSVP attendance pre and post event reporting.
    • Monitors sports and event tickets for client entertainment purposes, acts as primary lawyer and vendor contact, handling all Dallas sports and event ticket requests, distribution, tracking, accounting and venue oversight.
    • Assists with identifying relevant regional speaking and other sponsorship/credentialing opportunities for lawyers.
    • Coordinates lawyer professional photos, including scheduling in-house sessions with the photographer, working to upload photos to the Firm website and maintaining electronic files of all photos.
    • Maintains and oversees inventory of branded client gifts.
    • Coordinates all communication relating to events, including drafting invitations, event-related correspondence and follow-up.
    • Designs event invitations (in collaborations with the graphic arts department)
    • Assists in the drafting, editing and maintenance of marketing collateral for the office as needed.
    • Helps identify and track sponsorship opportunities for the Dallas office including liaising with lawyers to maximize sponsorship benefits.
    • Works with creative team to draft and produce promotional and other collateral materials, including advertisements.
    • Liaises with lawyers to produce and distribute Firm updates and newsletters to clients; includes placement of information on the Firm website.
    • Maintains accurate records for marketing department expenses; including event budgets and timelines. Is responsible for the preparation of check requests for approval, as needed.
    • Works on special projects as requested.

    Education and/or Experience:


    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Minimum of 2 years of marketing-related experience
    • Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
    • Demonstrated writing, editing and proofreading skills



    • Bachelor’s degree in communications or marketing
    • Legal marketing or professional services marketing experience
    • Knowledge of InterAction database
    • Ability to interact with Firm members at all levels
    • Use of good judgment and the ability to think strategically and analytically
    • Event or hospitality industry experience
    • Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat
