The Buyer will support day to day Firm Procurement activities under the direction of the Procurement Manager. The Buyer will conduct Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Proposal (RFP) or Requests for Quote (RFQ) for products, equipment, supplies and services to ensure that business requirements are being met at the best Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). The Buyer will analyze quotations and make recommendations to Procurement Leadership based on price, availability, terms, quality, and past performance. This position has an emphasis on customer service and cost savings. Effective project management skills are crucial as well as excellent interpersonal skills.
