  • Summary

    The Graphic Designer will be responsible for designing various projects from concept to completion including, but not limited to, marketing collateral, invitations, advertisements, client/prospect communications, digital/social graphics and presentations. Projects in this position are multi-component and will require a strong focus on strategic brand development.

    The position requires the individual to be able to multi-task effectively and handle multiple projects with overlapping deadlines. They must be able to work independently, as well as collaborate as needed with other designers, writers, marketing colleagues, other various departments and firm lawyers.

    Duties and Responsibilities


    • Develop complex creative from concept to completion
    • Possess in-depth awareness of brand identity and the application in conceptual design
    • Have common awareness of design principles, creative design and their application to collateral
    • Understand relevant visual trends and their applications to our brand and collateral
    • Enforce brand guidelines. Review consistency of all design work
    • Consult with marketing colleagues and managers to identify and evaluate individual project needs, efficiently key and incorporate revisions and edits, as needed
    • Coordinate project production details including preparation of cost estimates, overall timing and scheduled reviews
    • Produce final documents by reviewing and prepping files for release. Confirm correct styles are applied to document elements and perform quality checks for spelling, format and style
    • Develop digital illustrations and graphics, modify existing vector art, digital
    • images and layout according to specifications
    • Work in firm’s Sitecore to upload design files; ensuring graphics and links function correctly
    • Collaborate with other designers, production artists, writers and managers, as needed
    • Understand the design market within a legal industry
    • Other duties, as assigned.



    • Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university.
    • Demonstrated knowledge and experience of graphic design, typography and rendering for both print and digital media, including rendering for the internet.
    • A minimum of 3 years of experience manipulating/integrating graphics from spreadsheet or presentation applications for projects ranging from small proposals to large complex efforts with extensive graphics.
    • Demonstrated advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel.
    • Knowledge of print techniques including offset and digital production process and various stocks.
    • Experience using design templates and translating design concepts into finished work product.
    • Portfolio of work, both in print and digital form.



    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
