  • Summary

    A two-year position supporting paralegals and attorneys in the corporate practice.This position is an opportunity for individuals interested in law school to gain prior legal experience.

     

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Assists on miscellaneous functions within Transactional Financings (Corporate, Public Finance and Securitization) as either bond counsel, underwriter’s counsel, corporate counsel, disclosure counsel, etc.
    • Performs basic support for Transactional Financings such as initial mark up of documents, proofing, client contact, vendor contact, duplication of documents.   
    • Formats and types various documents as requested.
    • Maintains client files for financings assigned.
    • Inputs daily time through Time Billing System.
    • Maintains a safe and unobstructed work area, including a neat and well organized desk.
    • Performs other work related duties as assigned or as judgment or necessity dictates.

    Required:

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Strong organizational and communication skills.
