  • Summary

    The Career Development Operations Assistant will work closely with the Chief Training and Professional Development Officer, the Career Development Operations Manager, and other Lawyer Training & Professional Development team members across the firm to support the firm’s career opportunities platform for lawyers. The Assistant is responsible for conducting research and data entry, and helping ensure the continued accuracy of the data. The Assistant will also support lawyer training and professional development initiatives as needed.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Ensure consistent and accurate daily data collection, entry and processing.
    • Conduct research for new career opportunities from publicly available sources.
    • Perform routine audits to identify and remove outdated data.
    • Assist with additional projects associated with the firm’s career opportunities platform and related career-development initiatives.
    • Use online research tools to produce data reports and analyses, as requested.
    • Provide day‑to‑day user support and trouble‑shooting assistance.
    • Work independently and within a team on ongoing and special nonrecurring projects.
    • Attend planning meetings and conference calls among team members; participate in team meetings and communicate continuously on projects and assignments.
    • Proofread all work with attention to detail and accuracy, making necessary changes as needed.
    • Assist the Lawyer Training and Professional Development team with special projects and initiatives as needed.
    • Other duties, as assigned.

    Education and/or Experience:

    Required:

    • Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university

    Preferred:

    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
    • Data entry experience
    • Law firm experience
