The Records Assistant performs clerical tasks related to disposition and compliance with all Records Management policies and procedures.   Handles the final disposition of all records.

Duties and Responsibilities

Audit records and prepare documents for destruction or return to the client (may involve visiting off-site storage vendor)


  • Create and assist in maintenance of records/document inventory indices
  • Analyze, classify and categorize information
  • Create and maintain project spreadsheets
  • Update LegalKey and manual card system
  • Performs all other related duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience:


  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Minimum two years work related experience such as general office work, data entry, filing and related duties



  • Bachelor's degree
  • Ability to type a minimum of 30 wpm
  • Experience with LegalKey and offsite storage vendor software
