Project Assistant is a two-year position supporting lawyers and others within the Capital Markets Practice Group.
Primary duties involve assisting the Capital Markets Practice Group with a variety of corporate closings including Trust-Preferred, Multi-Issuer Pool, Subordinated Debt, Collateral Bond Offerings and Merger & Acquisition transactions. Their tasks include a variety of pre and post-closing work such as, set-up and organization of closing room, maintaining inventor of transaction documents, and assembling and distributing post-closing volumes and electronic documentation. Project Assistants also assist in the proofreading of Prospectus Supplements, Offering Circulars and 10-K public filings. Other responsibilities include coordinating the execution of closing documents and the delivery of securities to clients, trustees and counsel.
