Summary

The Workday Integration Sr Manager role is an exciting new role that will be pivotal to the success of the March 2025 Workday deployment. The Workday  Integrations Sr Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the seamless integration of our Workday HCM technology system and other HR platforms and applications within our ecosystem. This lead role will be responsible for developing strategy and setting up operations of the run team, including demand and release management.  The Lead will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth data flows, system compatibility and timely and accurate delivery of integration projects. The ideal candidate must have demonstrated leadership skills, deep technical expertise in Workday integration tools and methodologies, PeopleSoft proficiency and must have deep understanding of enterprise architecture and IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate must have demonstrated experience in building Workday run support teams  across key modules like HCM, Performance, Compensation, Time Tracking, Absence and Recruiting platforms. 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead a team that develops and trouble shoots Workday integrations, partners with internal HRIS, IT, external partners  and  off-shore Application Management Services (AMS) teams. 
  • Develop the future state architecture for HR Data integrations
  • Lead Design and Development of integrations that meet the business requirements
  • Utilize Integration tools for cloud based HCM System
  • Oversee the integration project life-cycle working with cross-functional teams
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate the functionality and performance of integrations
  • Lead Demand Management process
  • Lead Release Management and Agile Development teams and process
  • Partner with off-shore AMS
  • Train other members of the team on how to build and maintain integrations
  • Ongoing support and maintenance of integrations
  • Develop Agile KPIs and self-audit capabilities

 

Salaries vary by location and are based on numerous factors, including, but not limited to, the relevant market, skills, experience, and education of the selected candidate. If an estimated salary range for this role is available, it will be provided in our Target Salary Range section. Target Salary Range

$157,000 - $211,000 if located in Illinois

Education and/or Experience: 

Required:

  • A minimum of seven years of experience with Workday integrations. 
  • A minimum of three years of Workday Integration leadership experience. 
  • Agile  and Project Management Skills
  • Problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Strong Knowledge of Workday Core Connectors, EIBs, RaaS and Studio Integrations with downstream HR, Financial and 3rd party applications. 

Preferred:

  • Workday RaaS and PeopleSoft mapping experience
  • Workday Integration/Studio certification
  • Agile/Scrum certification
  • Workday Recruit, Advanced Compensation, Time and Attendance and Talent Module Experience
  • Understanding of middleware applications
